Uplevel your skills.

Remote locations and fresh air guaranteed.

Non rushed schedule.

Are you a solo traveler that wants some content? Us too!

Urban and nature destinations.

We do stuff…but we’re chill about it.

I’ve taught photography in small group classes for 10 years and been a world traveler for 30.

YOU are INVITED!

OPTIMIZE YOUR LIFE, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND BODY. COME ON AN ADVENTURE!

EVERY trip INCLUDES

Workshops & Discussions

Daily debrief about the location, what to look for, ideas for shooting and suggested gear. Editing and post-processing discussions.

Trying New Things

New to flying a drone? Bring it, learn and fly with us! Don’t love traveling alone? We got you.

Movement & Adventure

This isn’t just about photography. We will be exploring new areas by foot, sea and cycle. Cameras are always optional, join us for the adventure!

Accommodations

3 star average accommodations shared with one other person. Solo options available, or get in touch if you want to book your own and only pay for the trip and transport.

Transportation

I drive or arrange transport wherever we go. Drivers, trains, shuttles, bikes, scooters, you name it.

Down Time

I build in space and time for exploration, solo time, editing and relaxation. We don’t want this to be the vacation you need a vacation after.

Epic Views

I take great care to plan my photography adventures to maximize unique places that are off the beaten track. We cover hot spot too though.

Very Small Groups

The maximum number of people will be six including me. Basically we need to be able to fit us all into one vehicle with luggage.

upcoming ADVENTURES

Female hiker wears 50L backpack and looks at an Alpine Lake.

Hiking and photography in the ROCKIES

  • Day trips and overnight trips available.

  • Bring all the gear, and we'll do day and overnight hikes in and around the Rocky Mountains near Jasper and Banff National Parks.

Namibia

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more.

Beginner or advanced, it doesn’t matter. I’ve wanted to visit these regions for a long time so, the time is now. I may not be back a second time. In some cases I have experience with a location, other times not and it’s an adventure for us all.

Long Exposures

introducing website retreats!

Picture this…

  • you have to update your website but you can’t find time (or discipline) to do it.

  • You go on holiday to a beautiful remote cabin for a couple of days with a few other people.

  • You have your own private room with shared common areas.

  • You have dedicated work sessions focusing on different areas of your website.

  • An expert is on hand to help guide you over any hurdles and answer technical, seo and design questions.

  • In spare time you are fed nourishing meals and can go enjoy nature or enjoy the space however you please.

  • Would you go?

What if you could go away on a self work retreat…but with other people.

If you knew you could get your website finished in a few days, would you do it?

You think you need to isolate yourself in a remote cabin but it’s cost prohibitive to book the whole place alone.

FAQ

  • In most cases I have never been to these areas before. I do thorough research when trip planning, to ensure scenic locations, ample movement opportunities, and enough down time so that you don't need a vacation when you return from a trip.

As needed, I book local guides.

My offering includes adventure, photography, camera, phone and drone planning and accommodation

  • You don't need a DSLR to attend. If you're an adventure buff, just come for the experience and learn how to optimize your phone camera and editing features.

I always travel with a drone (DJI mavic mini 3 pro), so I can help with figuring yours out too.

You are, of course, welcome to bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera, I travel with a Sony a7iv, but spent 12 years in the Nikon sphere.

  • This is a very personal choice, and is always a balance between how much you feel like carrying, and how much range you truly think you'll need.

We will have a group call before the trip to discuss the logistics, equipment and recommended supplies. I will also provide a list of essential items and recommended ones.

As a reference point, I generally travel with my 28-70mm and 85 1.8. I might start bringing a wider lens as well. If we were going to Africa I would bring the longest lens I own, and would consider purchasing an extender.

  • 50% of the trip price is due upon booking, and is non refundable within 30 days of departure.

The balance is due one week before departure, otherwise I will assume you are not coming and have forfeited your original deposit.

This is necessary because of accommodations, tour bookings and transportation arrangements.

Trips are exchangeable! If you can no longer attend, but someone wants to take your place, you are welcome to trade, just make sure you let me know ahead of time.

  • Kind of! As a professional photographer, and teacher for many years, I do tend to instruct, but won't be oppressive about it. Nothing is mandatory. There might be basic things you already know that someone else doesn't.

These trips are part workshop, part adventure and part movement retreat.

  • Prices vary per trip! In general it's around $300USD/day per person for more exotic destinations, not including flights.

Camping or hiking adventures will be around $200USD/day, again dependent on transport and logistics.

  • Great! Where are we going? Let me kow where you'd like to go (and why) and let's make it into a trip.

ADVENTURERS wanted!

SEO and technical support for entrepreneurs

As a seasoned solo female world traveler, I’m not afraid to go on treks, stay in vans, go on long bike rides, or visit remote destinations alone. I go to some pretty cool places and I’d love to do it with like minded people!

My passion for movement means that any trip I plan will involve activity. Either cycling, hiking, volleyball, yoga, kayaking, dancing, jogging, or any other activity that suits the region.

So you’re a nomad but want to travel with people once in awhile. Me too! Every 2-3 days I schedule in a full day of work. We find a cute coffee shop, coworking space or otherwise have free time to explore, get inspired, write, work, and attend to our projects.

If you’re on the same page, let’s do this!

“Suzanne is a true professional who is warm and engaging. I had my DSLR and my husband had a point & shoot. We learnt so much about our cameras along with valuable easy to understand techniques on how to take better photos. I would highly recommend this tour for Photography lovers of all skill levels.”
